Join a Teams class meeting
If your course instructor has chosen to offer a lecture, class meeting, or seminar group via Teams, there are several methods of connecting. Such methods include accessing a meeting from a channel in your class Teams site, accessing a meeting through your Teams calendar, or accessing a meeting through your Outlook Calendar.

Join a Teams Class Meeting via Teams Class Site
Log into Teams
Access Teams through your Internet browser, or open your Microsoft Teams desktop app. More information about how to access Teams through your Internet browser is available in the Where is Teams? page.
Click upon your class
Now that you've logged into Teams, you should see the title of your course. Clicking upon it will allow you to enter your class' Team space.
Click on Meeting to open item
In the General channel of your class Teams space, you may find a "post" similar to the image above. Double click the "post" to open the class meeting invite.
Note: If your class Teams space has additional channels for various labs or sections of the course, you may need to check there for your class meeting "post."
Click Join
After opening the class meeting invite, you will see the option to Join the meeting in the top right corner. Click the Join button to open your class meeting.
Join a Teams Class Meeting via Teams Calendar
Select the Calendar tab
Open Microsoft Teams, either via your Internet browser or the desktop app, and select the Calendar icon in the left side menu.
Locate the Class Meeting in your Calendar
Find the appropriate day and time for which your class meeting is to occur. You should see a calendar event for your class Teams meeting. If the meeting is set to occur shortly, you will see a "Join" button illuminated on the calendar event for you to click and access the class meeting. If the "Join" button has not yet appeared, you can double click the calendar event to access the meeting.
